A senior expert from PUM Netherlands spent a week at our Jashore campus in March 2026. PUM sends retired specialists to companies and institutions in developing countries; ours came from the food processing industry.
During the visit the expert reviewed our food processing and preservation curriculum, walked through the practical rooms with the instructors, and advised on equipment, hygiene procedures and the way we assess students.
Several of the recommendations have already been built into the course. Others — in particular around preservation and packing — will be introduced in the next intake.
