Who studies with us, what a course day looks like, and what it costs. Everything a prospective student and their family needs to know before they register.
A day at the campus
Courses combine a morning of theory with an afternoon of practice — in the kitchen, at the sewing machines or behind a computer.
Classes are small enough that every student gets the instructor’s attention. Learning materials and working clothes are provided; students bring their own notebook.
The campus is open to women and men alike, and we work actively to keep it a place where every student can concentrate on their trade.

Admission, fees and support
Who can apply?
Anyone who meets the entry requirements for the course. For some level 3 and 4 courses, previous experience in the trade is needed — ask us and we will tell you honestly whether a course is a fit.
What does a course cost?
Fees depend on the course and the level, and include the materials and the assessment. Ask us for an indication.
Is financial support available?
Yes. Scholarships and NGO-funded places are available for students who cannot pay the full fee.
What certificate do I receive?
A nationally recognised certificate, assessed under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board and registered with the National Skills Development Authority.
What happens after the course?
We help with your CV, arrange internships and introduce you to employers. Students who want to start their own business get help with a business plan and, where possible, with start-up capital.
Life after Prism
Of the young people we have trained, 42 per cent found paid employment and 40 per cent started a business of their own. Many work in hotels, restaurants and food companies in Jashore and beyond; others sell what they make from home.
Graduates stay in touch. They come back to hire the next group of students, to teach an evening class, or to buy materials through the group.
