New food processing course

You are currently viewing New food processing course

A new short course in food processing opened for registration at the end of February 2026.

The course covers hygiene and food safety, methods of preservation, packing and labelling, and the practicalities of small-scale production — enough to work in a food company or to start producing at home for sale.

Teaching is hands-on: students work in our practical rooms with the same equipment they will meet in a working plant, and are assessed on what they can do rather than on what they can write down.

Places are limited. Come to the campus to register, or call us for the next start date.
